First, I am a big fan of Blackbird Designs and a veteran of the US Army. Taking all that into account it is no surprise I really enjoyed Women of Grace and Charm - A Quilting Tribute to the Women Who served in WWII. It is one of those quilting books that is a joy to read as much as a joy to use the pattern. Like many of their book it combines piecing and applique (another reason why I enjoyed it!) ( )
