NOW I CAN PROUDLY SAY IVE READ TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD. That's an achievement in itself :p

Told from the perspective of a 9 years old little girl, it surely made the story different. If it was told from Atticus's point of view, I don't think it would have the same impact.

I couldn't help but feel that Scout annoyed me at some points but I really really like Jem and his way of thinking! And Atticus Finch is an amazing dad!!!

My main trouble while reading this was there are just too many names! Theres Mrs Robinson and Miss Crawford and Mr Cunningham and Mrs Dubose and God knows who else that I completely lost track.

This is my first classics and the narrative is pretty easy to get through. It's the conversations with slangs that bothers me a bit. Took me quite a while to get used to the whole nome-yessum-'smatter thing. I still can't figure out what yonder is heh.

To Kill A Mockingbird is a definitely an excellent read and I can totally see why it is made a school reading.

"Shoot all the bluejays you want, if you can hit em, but remember its a sin to kill a mockingbird."
