Elkins, PhD, is a licensed psychologist and a Professor Emeritus of Psychology in the Graduate School of Education and Psychology at Pepperdine University where he trained clinical psychologists and marriage and family therapists for 30 years. He is a Fellow of the American Psychological Association (APA) and has served twice as president of Division 32, Society for Humanistic Psychology, of APA.
