The essay "Celine Once More" (pp. 149-161) - originally published in "Brandeis Essays" (Waltham, MA: Brandeis University, 1983) - deals with the author's visit to the antisemitic French writer in Denmark, which resulted in his book "The Crippled Giant" (1950). Expresses similar views to those found in the revised edition (see the preceding entry).
